To successfully complete your UF EDGE courses, you must identify to UF EDGE an individual or commercial testing service that will proctor any required quizzes and/or examinations. Your proctor ensures academic integrity and MUST accept the responsibility of administering exams and quizzes for you.
Examples of qualified proctors
Proctors may be a Human Resources training/education professional at your company; your supervisor; librarians; FEEDS-affiliated Universities in Florida staff members; college/university academic professionals (professors, deans, etc.) or Education Testing Officers(ESO/TCO)
If it is more convenient, or if you have trouble finding a proctor, you may also get your test proctored by professionals at a university or community college testing centers; a commercial testing center (such as the National Consortium of Testing Centers.
Proctors may not be a personal friend, relative, another student, or a colleague at work who reports to you; a secretary or an office manager; an administrative assistant; a student tutor.
Notes on selecting a proctor
All Proctors are subject to approval by UF EDGE. If it becomes necessary to change proctors you must resubmit the proctor form and wait for approval so please resubmit as soon as possible. All proctoring fees are the student’s responsibility.
