Standards and Policy
The UF EDGE website is a part of the UF College of Engineering and a part of the University of Florida's network of websites. As an official university Web site, it abides by the university's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for campus computing resources which dictates the responsibilities of UF Web developers. This site is built using accepted Web standards and meets all guidelines set forth by the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and conforms to all standards in Section 508 (29 U.S.C. ' 794d) of the Rehabilitation Act.

The UF EDGE web site is an access point to the University of Florida information technology environment; hence by virtue of using it, users agree to abide by the highest standards of responsibility to their colleagues and agree to comply with all applicable University and State University System policies, and with applicable state and federal laws concerning appropriate use of information technology. Non-compliance is a serious breach of university standards which may result in disciplinary and/or legal action.
